very cool opp to hear from art/tech cultural designer

Here's a special opportunity for those like me interested in the latest ways technology can bridge with art to affect society & our culture. The Thompson Art Gallery here on campus runs a series of free talks every Tuesday night and the curator & interim director, Aaron Wilder, reached out to let me know because he though MIS students would be interested in this one. (Hopefully he was right.)

The event web page says: "Barry Threw is an independent technologist, designer, and cultural producer exploring ways the engagement of art and technology can promote transdisciplinary understanding and catalyze culture."

The talk is coming up next Tuesday, Oct 3, 5:00pm-6:00pm, in Art 133. Here's the event website:

and here's the guy's website where you can check out his very cool projects:

Don't be a nerd–check it out! See you there.

  1. Thanks for sharing such a nice post.
There are many ways to create a website but however with certain restrictions. The best way I would like to suggest is to know the basics of web design with HTML and CSS and then start creating the website of your choice. we do digital marketing too. no matter the device we can develop an app for that we develop the web application that provides capabilities for multiple users with different permission levels Website designing
