A ripe & juicy opportunity for juniors just crossed my desk.

A representative from Apple's University Relations team got in touch to learn more about our program and let me know how our students could fit with their needs. It turns out they have a growing opportunity for MIS juniors to intern in their Information Systems & Technology Department the summer before their senior year! That's awesome in and of itself but wait...there's more.

Interns that work out really well will be eligible to enter Apple's prized IT Development Program (ITDP) upon graduation. This rotational program gives you 1-2 years of exposure to a variety of technologies & settings through a series of short term assignments and when you're done, you're well-positioned to go after "advanced roles within Apple IT" (see below).

The rep sent me a position description and more information about the ITDP and said interested juniors could send resumes to her at studentjobs@apple.com. We're hoping to get them to campus next fall but for now, they're definitely interested in hearing from good prospects, so get in touch ASAP! I wish I could apply - I'm not only a big fan of their stuff, I also love the food they serve at the cafeteria. If you get hired, you have to invite me over for lunch....and dinner...weekly....at least.

Here's what they sent:
