WSJ: MIS ties for #1 in career satisfaction!
A recent article in the Wall Street Journal online cites a Payscale.com survey showing MIS tied for first place (with chemical engineering) in career path satisfaction. They say "about 54% of...management information systems majors were satisfied or very satisfied...making them the happiest with their careers." Well, dictionary.reference.com defines happiness as "good fortune; pleasure; contentment; joy" so yeah, that makes sense to me. Just didn't realize so many others thought so, too. (Maybe I'm not that weird after all?)
