revamped MIS department website
ok, so there was a big gap in entries until today - partly because i was revamping the MIS department website. a major pain but it was worth it. i think the information architecture is much better–easier to find what you need, accommodates current students, prospective students, alumni and guests all differently. and, though there are (very) strict university and college rules about what has to go where, etc., that were hard to stay within, the aesthetic is better too with much more of a human element than before.
also worked in this blog feed ("more...about the department) and a live tech news feed under "News & Events" so at least there is some dynamic element, some life to the site. check it out and let me know what you think.
